Sobre Sandwell

Sandwell was founded by Andy Gottlieb in 2023 and serves chef-driven healthyish sandwiches at three New York City locations in SoHo, Gramercy Park and on the Upper West Side. Every sandwich is built on house-baked semolina bread with scratch-made sauces, house-whipped burrata, and proteins baked instead of fried. Our menu includes signature sandwiches like the Chicken Pesto Burrata, Turkey Meatball Sub, Chicken Parm, and Mushroom Cheese"steak", hearty salads, fresh sides, house-made beverages, and catering for groups of 10–300.

Sandwell is a local favorite near the Upper West Side, Central Park, American Museum of Natural History, Riverside Park, Lincoln Center, Gramercy Park, Union Square, Madison Square Park, Stuyvesant Town, Peter Cooper Village, East Village, Murray Hill, Kips Bay, Flatiron, NoMad, Stuyvesant Square, Baruch College, Empire State Building, Bellevue, NYU Langone, New York University, SoHo, Greenwich Village, the West Village, Nolita, Little Italy, Hudson Square, NoHo, Tribeca, and Washington Square Park. Popular with New Yorkers and international visitors alike — freshly made, satisfying, and rooted in New York food culture.
